Avv. Suela Fani


Suela Fani graduated in law in 2002 at the University of Bologna, her research thesis focussed on European Community Law "Immigration in the European Union, discipline and perspectives."

Having successfully concluded her period of practicing law, she moved to Rome where she actively collaborated and contributed to criminal processes of large media and judicial importance.

She passed the qualification exam for practicing law in 2005-2006 at the Bologna Court of Appeal and became a member of the Rome Ordine degli Avvocati where she started to practice the techniques of criminal defence both in the phases of investigation and trial.

She continued her work in Rome whilst joining the Bologna Ordine degli Avvocati in 2010.

She was added onto the list of state legal representation for the less affluent and to the list of qualified defenders to practice in front of the juvenile court.

She did an internship on permanent medical damage and medical/legal responsibility at the Bologna Ordine degli Avvocati in 2003.

She is a specialist in penal law and juvenile penal law. In 2006, she enhanced her knowledge of these matters while participating in a Trial Techniques course organized by the Scuola Forense Romana as well as a Juvenile Law course organized in 2007 by the Ordine degli Avvocati in Rome.
She has accrued many years of experience practicing as a freelance professional working personally in processes involving drugs, organised crime and prostitution exploitation, which she continues to deal with both in Rome and Bologna.
