Avv. Massimiliano Mattioli


Massimiliano Mattioli graduated in Law in 1999 at the University of Bologna, his thesis concentrated on commercial law "The security obligations of administrators of delegated powers".

After completing military service, he immediately started practicing law, concluding with passing the qualification exam for practicing law at the Bologna Court of Appeal.
He has been a member of the Ordine degli Avvocati di Bologna since September 2002 and in 2003, he was added onto the list of qualified defenders of free legal aid.

In 2009, he refined his knowledge of the English language attending an intensive course in Boston, Massachusetts (USA), in the same year he attended a course in English for Law, enhancing his knowledge of the common law system.

Massimiliano Mattioli specialises in civil law and has accrued years of experience in the sector of personal injury compensation, moreover personally managing delicate lawsuits involving medical error.
Furthermore, he works with contractual law, debt collection for companies and private parties, and location problems, over the course of the years he has accrued vast experience in the field of family law.

He actively carries out his role as the supportive administrator for the Judge supervising cases concerning guardianship at the Court of Bologna. Since 2012, he has been part of ABAS - the Bolognese Association of supportive administrators, where he is a member of the training commission and with whom he actively works for the legal protection of individuals at risk.

In addition to this, he is a member of and legal consultant for Bologna-Connect – an association, which was established with the objective of promoting the Bologna area and the excellence of local gastronomy abroad, enabling commercial and cultural exchanges with small and medium businesses.

In his free time, he organises events for foreigners by means of the international organization InterNations. He is an ambassador of the Bologna InterNations community and manages the continual promotion and development of the community whilst also promoting the artistic, historic and cultural excellence of Bologna as well as that of Italy.
